Simply delighted to include 3 postcard sized works in "Incognito 2018" on behalf of the Jack and Jill Children's Foundation. As Ireland's largest ever Art Exhibition with an exhibited 1650pieces and with all profits going directly to support the charity that supports families of children with neurological difficulties a huge thanks must go to the team behind the incentive and the staff and supporters of Dublin's #SolomonsGallery . Congrats to all Involved. N.

PSEUDONYMLast night,Thursday the 29th of March, I had the privilege of attending In-spire Galerie, on Dublins lower Gardiner Street for the first Group show of 2018, Pseudonym.
Additionally, I had the privilege of having two works curated into this show by Curator and Gallery Director Dino Notaro. These two works that I refer to as :Two Conversations, are titled Outside-in and Inside-out, they are encaustic with wax and pigment monotype inlay, on panel, and continue to form part of my spirit letters series that I have been continually pulled back to over the last number of years. These two pieces were started in The Tyrone Guthrie centre last November and speak of that juxtaposition between true personal identity and social media identity and how the two are often similar but not always the same. I hope you enjoy the work xx N. http://www.thejournal.ie/tracey-emin-art-thousands-3908308-Mar2018/ Speaking of Charitable Auctions for good causes...Every year I pick at least 2 charities to help out with my art in any way that it can....in four of the past five years I have proudly supported the good folks at www.jackandjill.ie in their fundraising for Children and their families with neurological difficulties and this year is no different with the fantastic return of #INCOGNITO at the rather fabulous Solomon Gallery ...If last year was anything to go by you need to move quickly in order to grab one of these beauties...dates, purchasing details and a full selection of images (in excess of 1500 miniature artworks) can be seen at www.incognito.ie where the artists identity is hidden until after the €50 sale... its exciting, its fun, its a gamble...will you get the Tracy Emin, maybe an Alice Maher or Mick O'Dea or (cheeky I know) Maybe one of three original Niamh O'Connors....get involved get lucky and have fun all in aid of a fantastic charity that really makes the difference when people need it xxN. |
